Capsules Quality & Additives

Purity does not stop at the ingredient itself. It extends to everything that surrounds it.

Many supplements on the market use synthetic capsule materials and industrial processing agents to increase manufacturing speed and reduce cost. Additives such as maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, and artificial fillers are commonly used to improve flow, prevent clumping, or simplify large-scale production.

While these substances are permitted in regulated amounts, they are not always necessary.

At Drunetic, we choose simplicity and protection.

Our capsules are made from organic, plant-based pullulan derived through natural fermentation. Pullulan is known for its low oxygen permeability and low moisture transmission, offering stronger protection than many conventional capsule materials.

In herbal science, protection from oxygen exposure matters. Many botanical compounds — including polyphenols, pigments, and antioxidant systems — are sensitive to oxidation. Prolonged oxygen exposure can gradually reduce their potency over time.

Pullulan provides a stable barrier, helping preserve the botanical profile inside the capsule from manufacturing to consumption.

We also avoid unnecessary fillers and additional processing agents whenever possible. The goal is not simply to meet regulatory standards — it is to minimize unnecessary inputs.

The more industrial a formulation becomes, the further it moves from its botanical origin. We believe supplementation should support the body without adding avoidable complexity.

By combining organic capsule materials with minimal additional additives, we ensure that what you consume is primarily the plant itself — protected, preserved, and intentional.

This is part of our broader philosophy: preserve what matters, remove what doesn’t.
